The offer

A verified clone of you, which we call a twin, live on the internet, answering in text chat, in your own voice, and on a live talking avatar. One build gives you all three. It runs on your material, in your manner, at the hours you are not available, and it carries your name because your identity is checked before it goes live.

Building it is free. There is no subscription, so a quiet month costs you nothing. You set your own per-minute price above a platform base and keep 80% of your markup, with commission on the markup only. You choose what a first-time visitor gets free. You approve what it may say before it says anything, and you can switch it off at any moment.

Going live needs no plan at all. Consent and a checked identity are the only gate. Paid seats add the things you want once it is working: embedding your twin on your own site, keeping it out of the public directory, usage analytics and response controls, and an allowance of sponsored minutes to give your visitors.

What you are charging for when you charge for your AI clone

An AIMayDo twin is a verified stand-in for one named, living person. You upload your own material and record a consent statement in your own voice, and Stripe checks your identity before anything goes live. One build gives visitors three ways to reach you: text chat, voice, and a live talking avatar. There is no separate video product to buy on top of the text one, and no upgrade tier that switches the face on.

What a visitor pays for is your answer at an hour when you are not available. Part of that value is timing. Part of it is that people will ask a machine the question they would be embarrassed to ask you directly, such as whether they have misunderstood something basic. A twin can take that question without anyone losing face.

The mechanics, in five lines

• Building a twin is free, and there is no subscription. A quiet month bills you nothing.
• You set your own per-minute price above a platform base rate.
• You keep 80% of your markup. Commission applies to the markup only and never to the base.
• Visitors are billed only for the minutes they spend actually talking, and they do not subscribe to you.

Why there is nothing to pay up front

There is no listing fee, no monthly minimum, and no plan to cancel. A twin can sit live through a whole month with nobody talking to it and cost you nothing, which is why we can say without qualification that building one is free to try.

The same holds on the visitor's side. Nobody buys a recurring pass to you. They pay for minutes as they use them, so there is no forgotten charge sitting on someone's card because they meant to come back and never did. Money moves when a conversation happens, and at no other time.

How the split works

A platform base rate per minute sits underneath every twin and covers the cost of running the conversation. You choose what to charge on top of it. The amount above the base is your markup, and the markup is the only part commission touches.

The arithmetic stays legible without a spreadsheet. Set your price at twice the base and your markup equals the base, so you keep four fifths of half the ticket. Set your price close to the base and each minute earns you a little while costing the visitor a little. Set it well above and each minute is worth more to you. The number is yours and you can change it after you have watched a few real conversations.

We will not print a recommended rate. What your minutes are worth depends on who asks for your time and what they ask about, and we have no evidence that would make a suggested figure true for you.

Two properties of the meter are worth knowing before you set a price. The visitor can see it, so the charge sits in front of them while they decide what to ask. And it stops when the talking stops, so a tab left open on your twin costs nobody anything.

The free taster is a control you set

Every twin can open with a free taster, and the expert sets it. It has two independent caps: an amount of free time, and a number of free questions. Either can be set to zero. Whichever cap runs out first ends the free tier and the meter starts.

That is a real lever and worth using deliberately. A generous time cap with a small question cap suits an expert whose answers run long and considered. A tight time cap with several questions allowed suits quick exchanges where the visitor is checking whether the twin understands their situation at all. Setting both to zero puts the meter on from the first word.

Because the taster is configured per twin, none of it is a blanket platform guarantee. A visitor arriving at your twin gets the terms you chose, and you can revise them whenever you want to try something else.

Your twin on your own site

Your twin has a page on aimaydo.com. It can also run inside your own website through an allowlisted iframe, on your own domain, in front of visitors who already know you. That second route is the one we would point at first.

We are not going to promise you traffic, and the embed does not depend on any. The visitors are the people already arriving at your site, and the twin answers them at the hours you are not at your desk. Same price you set, same meter, same taster you configured.

What we measure, and what we will not publish

Every clone carries a measured fidelity score on its page, produced by our own fidelity engine. The method is deliberately awkward for us. A set of questions is held back and answered by the expert themselves. The same questions are then put to the twin cold, and the answers are graded against a rubric we wrote, averaged over several runs and re-measured as material changes. Whatever number comes out of that goes on the page.

We do not market a twin as indistinguishable from the person, and publishing a score would make little sense if we did. A score is a measurement of resemblance, and it sets a ceiling at the same time as it makes a claim.

There is a second number we could print and will not.

What stays under your control with your clone

Before your twin goes live, you approve the decision rules we extract from your material. Those rules are how the twin handles a question it has not seen before, so the approval step is where you catch a position you have since moved on from, or a rule that reads correctly on paper and sounds nothing like you.

After it is live, the switch is yours. You can revoke your twin at any time. Leaving deletes your face and voice at the underlying vendors as well as in our database, so revocation reaches further than a flag on a row we keep.

Some limits belong in the same breath. A twin works from what you gave it, so it can be confidently wrong at the edges of what you have written down, and it knows nothing you have never put into words. It holds no memory of anyone's history with you and carries no duty of care. If you work in a regulated field, frame the twin as general information and check your professional body's position before you publish one under your name.

Reasons people build one

Wanting a twin because it is a genuinely interesting thing to own is a good enough reason on its own. The first twin here was built by one of our own co-founders, and curiosity was part of why.

The reasons we hear are all legitimate. Curiosity about what a version of you trained on your own words says when a stranger pushes on it. Being early, while the category is small enough that a position in it is still open. Wanting the questions you answer over and over to get your answer at two in the morning rather than no answer. Having material that already exists, in writing or on tape, and currently does nothing at all.

None of those needs a business case attached to it, and none of them costs anything to test. That is what free to build is for.
