AI clone for coaches: how it works and what it costs
An AI clone for a coach is a verified twin of you that answers in text chat, in your own voice, and on a live talking avatar, built from material you upload. On AIMayDo it is free to build and there is no subscription. You set a per-minute price above a platform base and keep 80% of your markup.
The offer
A verified clone of you, which we call a twin, live on the internet, answering in text chat, in your own voice, and on a live talking avatar. One build gives you all three. It runs on your material, in your manner, at the hours you are not available, and it carries your name because your identity is checked before it goes live.
Building it is free. There is no subscription, so a quiet month costs you nothing. You set your own per-minute price above a platform base and keep 80% of your markup, with commission on the markup only. You choose what a first-time visitor gets free. You approve what it may say before it says anything, and you can switch it off at any moment.
Going live needs no plan at all. Consent and a checked identity are the only gate. Paid seats add the things you want once it is working: embedding your twin on your own site, keeping it out of the public directory, usage analytics and response controls, and an allowance of sponsored minutes to give your visitors.
What an AI clone for a coach actually is
Three separate things travel under the word clone. A text chatbot trained on your writing. A synthetic voice that sounds like you. A video likeness that answers on camera. The word stretches over all three, so it is worth saying plainly which ones you get.
On AIMayDo a twin is all three from a single build. Text chat, voice and a live talking avatar, attached to a real coach under their own name. You upload the material once and the three modalities run off the same twin.
The material is yours. You upload what you have written and recorded, and you record a consent statement agreeing that a twin of you exists. Stripe runs an identity check before the twin goes live, so the person named on it is the person who built it. That check is why a twin here can carry a real name at all.
Before it goes live you also approve the decision rules we extract from your material. Those rules are the positions your twin holds when a question arrives that you never answered word for word. Nothing publishes under your name until you have read them and said yes.
What it costs and how you get paid
- Building is free. You upload material, record consent and clear the Stripe identity check.
- There is no subscription, so a quiet month bills you nothing at all.
- A platform base rate applies per minute, and you set your own price above that base.
- You keep 80% of your markup. Commission applies to the markup only and never touches the base.
- Visitors are billed only while they are actually talking, and you can revoke the twin at any time.
The full arithmetic, including what changes when you price close to the base and when you price well above it, sits on our page about setting a per-minute price and how commission on your markup works.
You set the free taster yourself
What a first-time visitor gets free is set by you, per twin, and it is two separate caps rather than one. You set an amount of free time and you set a number of free questions. Either can be set to zero. Whichever runs out first ends the free tier, and the visitor moves on to paid minutes.
That control is worth more than it sounds, because it is the whole of your first impression. If your value lands in ninety seconds you can be generous with the clock and tight on questions. If you would rather someone asked two substantial questions and then decided, set it that way and leave the clock long. A method that takes a while to explain wants different settings from an answer that fits in a paragraph, and neither has to accept a platform default.
Visitors top up credits and pay per minute. They never subscribe to you, so someone who tries your twin and walks away has not signed up to anything they later have to cancel.
Where AIMayDo is today
AIMayDo is live and running. Dr Evangelos Katsioulis, a psychiatrist and a co-founder, has his twin on the platform now, with its measured fidelity score published on the page. You can talk to it before you decide anything.
We are not going to publish what a twin earns, because we have no evidence that would make such a figure true, and anything we printed would be a guess wearing the clothes of data. Apply the same suspicion to everyone in this category, including us.
Reasons coaches build a clone of themselves
If you answer the same twenty questions constantly, those answers already exist somewhere in your writing. A twin puts them where people can reach them without booking an hour of your time.
There are people you were never going to sit down with in person. Some are in the wrong timezone. Some were never going to pay your rate. A twin gives your material somewhere to work that does not compete with your calendar.
You may want your ideas to answer someone at two in the morning. That is a real thing to want and it does not need a business case attached to it.
You may be curious what a version of yourself trained on your own words sounds like. We think that is a perfectly good reason on its own. Building is free, the twin comes down again on your say so, and asking it a question you have answered a hundred times is a genuinely strange experience.
Being early is a reason in itself, and right now it is a plain description of where things stand.
Your clone on your own site
A twin lives on aimaydo.com, and on a paid seat it also embeds on your own domain through an allowlisted iframe. That second route is the one to plan around once you are running. People who already know you land on your site, read your method page, and find your twin there, ready to answer at the moment their interest is highest. You keep the visit and the context around it, and the meter behaves exactly as it does on our site.
The allowlist means you name the domains permitted to load your twin. Nobody can lift the embed and run it somewhere you did not agree to.
What an AI clone gets wrong
A twin is not you, and we would rather be specific about where it falls short than reassuring about it.
It works only from the material you gave it, so it can be confidently wrong at the edges of what you have written down. It does not know what you have never put into words. It cannot tell that the person on the other end has gone quiet because something landed badly. Built from thin material it will sound thin, and nothing downstream repairs an empty archive.
Material also goes stale. Positions move. A twin repeating a view you abandoned two years ago is repeating it under your name, so plan on going back to it, asking it the questions your clients ask, and correcting the source when it drifts.
Against that, we publish a measured fidelity score on every twin, produced by our own fidelity engine. It reads your material into a profile across five dimensions, your voice and tone, how you reason, your lexicon, the positions you hold and the lines you will not cross, and it drafts the decision rules you then approve. Measuring works the awkward way round: we hold back questions you answered yourself, put those questions to the twin cold, and score the answers against a rubric we wrote, averaged over several runs and re-measured as your material changes. The number goes on the twin where a visitor can see it before spending anything. We do not market a twin as indistinguishable from the person, and we could not defend that claim if we made it. When anything in this category is sold to you as indistinguishable, that is the first sentence to check.
Control stays with you throughout. Revoke the twin and it stops. Leaving deletes your face and voice at the underlying vendors as well, rather than only in our database.
Whether anyone pays
You should not take a strategy from anyone who hides their own position, so here is ours.
We are not going to publish what a twin earns, because we have no evidence that would make such a figure true, and anything we printed would be a guess wearing the clothes of data. Apply the same suspicion to everyone in this category, including us.
When a page tells you what coaches make from a clone, ask how many coaches and over what period. What is knowable today is mechanical, and it is the list further up this page: free to build, no subscription, your own price above a base, 80% of your markup, billed by the minute of real conversation, and off whenever you say so.
Build one and see
Building costs nothing, so whether an AI clone of you is any good is a question you can settle by trying it. Upload your material, record consent, clear the identity check, approve the decision rules, set your taster and your price, then put the embed on your own site.
Start at build a twin on AIMayDo. If you would rather judge one before you build, the live twin of Dr Evangelos Katsioulis is at talk to Dr Evangelos Katsioulis, where his own taster settings apply and you can see how a twin holds up before deciding anything about your own.
Questions people ask
- What does it cost to build an AI clone as a coach?
- Building is free on AIMayDo. You upload your material, record a consent statement and clear a Stripe identity check, and there is no subscription, so a quiet month bills you nothing. Money only moves when someone talks to your twin. A platform base rate applies per minute, you set your own price above that base, and you keep 80% of your markup, with commission applying to the markup only and never to the base.
- Do I get text, voice and video, or do I have to choose?
- All three come from one build. A twin answers in text chat, speaks in your voice, and appears as a live talking avatar. You upload the material once and record consent once, and the three modalities run off the same twin under your own name.
- How much free time do visitors get before they pay?
- You decide, and you set it per twin. There are two independent caps: an amount of free time and a number of free questions. Either can be set to zero, and whichever runs out first ends the free tier. After that a visitor tops up credits and pays per minute, with the meter running only while they are actually talking. They never subscribe to you.
- How do visitors know how close the twin is to me?
- A measured fidelity score is published on the twin, produced by our own fidelity engine. We hold back questions you answered yourself, put those same questions to the twin cold, and score the answers against a rubric we wrote, averaged over several runs and re-measured as your material changes. We do not market a twin as indistinguishable from the person and we could not defend that claim if we made it.
- Can I put the twin on my own website, and can I take it down?
- Yes to both. Your twin embeds on your own domain through an allowlisted iframe, so it answers people who already know you, on your site, and you name the domains permitted to load it. You can revoke the twin at any time and it stops. Leaving deletes your face and voice at the underlying vendors as well, not only in our database.
If you want to build one, it is free to start. If you would rather see a live one first, our co-founder Dr. Evangelos Katsioulis, a psychiatrist, has his own twin running.
